Chile

Chile is a beautiful country extending over 4,270 km from North to South, one of the world’s most unusual territorial shapes. Indulge into the country’s history and art in Santiago, explore the world’s most southern and untouched lands in Patagonia (close to the South Pole!) and discover the endless arid deserts of the far North.

From the South to the North

We visited Chile from the South to the North, crossing over the Argentina and back a couple of times. Since the country stretches over so many kilometers, you will have to take some internal flights if you want to see both the South and North (which we highly recommend). If you start from the South you can fly into Ushuaia which is the most Southern point of Chile (from Santiago or Buenos Aires, for instance if that’s where your international flight arrived). From the only way is up!
